Role Overview:

As the Documentation Specialist at Ecorgy Solutions, you’ll play a pivotal role in our healthcare operations. Your exceptional skills in accurate documentation and clear communication will aid in maintaining precise records, supporting healthcare professionals, and ensuring top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical reports, including patient histories, examination findings, and diagnostic test results, from voice recordings into written documents.
• Edit and proofread transcribed documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify and obtain missing information from reports.
• Maintain a high level of productivity and meet daily transcription quotas.
• Utilize medical terminology and industry-specific knowledge to accurately transcribe medical reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical transcription.
• Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.
• Exceptional listening skills and the ability to decipher complex medical terminology.
• Fast and accurate typing skills with a minimum typing speed of [insert typing speed].
• Knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and drug names.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and transcription software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data security and confidentiality.
• Willingness to work night shift (9:30 PM to 6:30 AM) at our Elippode office premises in Trivandrum.
• Immediate Joiners & candidates from Trivandrum or nearby districts are preferred.
